SYLLABLES
What are syllable??
Syllables is a part of a word that contains a single vowel sound and that is pronounced as a unit.for example;'book' has 1 syllable and reading(rea-ding) has 2 syllables.
I know many of you know this but for beginners,its is helpful to know Korean letters.
¤How to make a sound (syllable)
there are four(4) types of syllable in Korean;
1.v:어,에,오,요
2.cv:구,지,하,디
3.vc:안,
4.cvc:친,금
At this moment you should know it means thé structure of sound not character.
WHAT I MEAN IS;
you May see two different type of letter,for example; '닭-chicken' which is 'cvcc' form.
In this case it is 'cvc' form which means '닭' is pronounced as '닥' not '닭', so last consonant sound should be one not two sound...
